Day of Mourning: Prayer for killed in road accident to be read in mosques
Today is a Day of Mourning for those killed in a traffic accident in Ulyanovsk Oblast of Russia in Kyrgyzstan. Quran will be read in all mosques for the dead 14 Kyrgyzstanis. The Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to it, Mufti Zamir Rakiev will also recite a prayer.
At least 16 people were killed in a traffic accident in Ulyanovsk Oblast of Russia, 14 of them are citizens of Kyrgyzstan. Three Kyrgyzstanis survived. Their condition is assessed as serious.
The minibus with Kyrgyzstanis was literally squeezed between two heavy trucks. The truck driver, who caused the fatal accident, also died.
By the decision of the President, August 23 was declared a Day of Mourning in Kyrgyzstan.
