Dmitry Bivol was born on December 18, 1990 in the city of Tokmak. He became interested in boxing at the age of six and began training under the guidance of a coach Vyacheslav Sharapov.
The winner of the championship of Kyrgyzstan among youths was a member of the youth team of the country. He moved to Russia at the age of 15.
He arrived in Bishkek on August 9. The athlete is training for the upcoming title defense in Kyrgyzstan. The training camp takes place in Tamga from August 9 to August 28.
