Two people killed in road accident in Issyk-Kul region, 7 more hospitalized
Two people were killed in a traffic accident, seven more were taken to the hospital. Press service of the Main Traffic Safety Department reports.
A 36-year-old resident of Issyk-Kul region was driving a Volkswagen Passat car on August 16 at about 5 p.m. and, having lost control of the vehicle, crashed into a tree on the 24th kilometer of Balykchy — Ananyevo — Karakol road.
As a result, his 76-year-old mother died at the scene from injuries, the driver died in the intensive care unit of the Balykchy City Hospital.
Seven passengers (three adults and four minors) were taken to the hospital with various injuries. The cause of the accident, according to the traffic police, is speeding.
The fact was registered, appropriate examinations were scheduled, and investigation is underway.
