RKDF provides $215 million in loans to businesses through banks for 7 years
The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) has financed 3,200 projects for $215 million through commercial banks since 2015. Press service of the organization provided such data.
At least 14 commercial banks participate in the SME lending program. Entrepreneurs can get loans from $20,000 to $1 million through it. Borrowers can get the money at a fixed rate — 9 percent in soms and 5 percent in dollars. Banks do not charge any fees. More than 80 percent of the projects are being implemented in the regions.
«The Fund finances projects in agriculture, product processing, light industry, textile industry, tourism, infrastructure, healthcare, education. We cover all regions and districts of the Kyrgyz Republic so that every entrepreneur can get preferential financing for the implementation of their ideas and projects,» said Artem Novikov, Chairman of the Board of the RKDF.
