Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 588.4 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 980,786 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 588,435,233 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (92,719,491), India (44,206,996), Brazil (34,124,579), France (34,383,344), Russia (18,523,028), Turkey (16,295,817), Great Britain (23,634,568), Italy (21,428,602), Spain (13,280,557), Germany (31,488,964), Argentina (9,602,534), Iran (7,459,175) and Columbia (6,286,392).
At least 6,430,537 people died from the virus, including 1,036,325 people — in the USA, 681,006— in Brazil, 328,437— in Mexico, 526,879— in India, 186,798— in the UK, 173,701— in Italy and 375,192— in Russia.
At least 204,671 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,462,380 cases — in Kazakhstan, 243,460— in Uzbekistan, 17,721 — in Tajikistan.
