Highest industrial growth among EAEU countries registered in Kyrgyzstan
In the first half of 2022, the volume of industrial production in Kyrgyzstan increased by 14.1 percent. The Department of Statistics of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) reports.
This is the highest growth rate among the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. An increase in industrial production amounted to 5.8 percent in Armenia, in Kazakhstan — 3.5 percent, in Russia — 2 percent. Industrial production decreased by 5.2 percent in Belarus, which affected the overall indicator of the Union. It increased by 1.8 percent for six months.
A significant increase in production was observed in the mining industry and quarry development — 3.9 percent. The volume of production in the manufacturing industry increased by 0.7 percent, in electricity and heat supply — by 0.5 percent.
A decrease of 2.3 percent was registered in the water supply, sewerage, collection and management of waste.
