Kyrgyzstan takes second place in terms of unemployment among EAEU countries
The number of unemployed registered with employment services at the end of June 2022 amounted to 1,026.6 million people in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The Department of Statistics of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) reports.
Compared to 2021, the figure decreased by 34 percent.
Armenia (4.2 percent) took the first place in terms of the ratio of the number of unemployed to the total labor force, Kyrgyzstan — the second (2.9 percent), Kazakhstan — the third (2.2 percent). The figure in Russia is 0.9 percent, in Belarus — 0.2 percent.
