Japarbek Ormonov becomes mayor of Cholpon-Ata city
The former chairman of the Osh City Council became the mayor of Cholpon-Ata city. The corresponding decision was signed by the head of Issyk-Kul district Kalybek Zhumadylov.
Berdibek Imanbekov was relieved of this post by another order.
Japarbek Ormonov was introduced to the team today. He is 49 years old. He is from Langar village in Kara-Suu district of Osh region.
He previously served as a vice mayor of Osh, head of the Osh City Council (SDPK). In October 2020, he ran for Parliament from the party Mekenim Kyrgyzstan, which was associated with the name of Raiymbek Matraimov.
In March 2021, he ran for the Osh City Council from Ishenim political party.
