Eight-year-old boy suffers gunshot wound in Batken
An eight-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound in Batken. The Prosecutor General’s Office told 24.kg news agency details of the incident.
According to the supervisory authority, three children approached a soldier on duty of Min-Bulak frontier post on August 7 at about 7 p.m. at Min-Oruk temporary border post.
One of them, taking advantage of the fact that the soldier’s attention was distracted, took a weapon and fired. The bullet hit the eight-year-old boy.
The fact was registered, and a pre-investigation check was launched. The necessary examinations have been appointed. The military prosecutor’s office of the Batken garrison is also checking the actions of the soldier.
According to the traumatologist of the Batken Regional Hospital Ikramidin Zulpukarov, the condition of the wounded child is serious.
