Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 578.1 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 871,934 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 578,179,889 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (91,472,835), India (44,036,275), Brazil (33,855,964), France (34,077,286), Russia (18,341,459), Turkey (15,889,495), Great Britain (23,515,924), Italy (21,059,545), Spain (13,226,579), Germany (30,956,873), Argentina (9,560,307), Iran (7,400,725) and Columbia (6,265,798).
At least 6,402,356 people died from the virus, including 1,030,498 people — in the USA, 678,715— in Brazil, 327,525— in Mexico, 526,396— in India, 184,649— in the UK, 172,207— in Italy and 374,719— in Russia.
At least 203,776 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,442,145 cases — in Kazakhstan, 243,131— in Uzbekistan, 17,721 — in Tajikistan.
