58 people get food poisoning in Kadamdzhai district
Mass food poisoning was registered in Kadamdzhai district of Kyrgyzstan. Press center of the Ministry of Health reported.
According to it, 58 people turned for medical help, six were hospitalized, including two children. Their condition is assessed as moderate.
A family event was held in a cafe with the participation of 250 people on July 30.
«The first patients (48 people) sought medical help on July 31 with the following symptoms: vomiting, fever up to 38-39 degrees, weakness, diarrhea. According to the Kadamdzhai Department of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Center, the patients told about a bad smell of one of the dishes, as well as consumption of a salad with mayonnaise, chicken, grilled chicken and melons. A sanitary and epidemiological examination of the cafe is being carried out,» the ministry noted.
