New football stadium planned to be built near Orok village
The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has transformed a land plot in Orok rural area, Sokuluk district of Chui region. The decision was made by a majority vote at a meeting of the Cabinet.
A land plot of 20.78 hectares was transferred from the category of agricultural land to the category of land for industry, transport, communications and energy. A sports and recreation center will be built there.
After a football match of the national team with Myanmar on June 11, the President promised to build a new football arena. The main stadium is really in a deplorable state. The head of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy, Azamat Zhamankulov, told reporters that a company was found that will implement the project.
