Russia initiates criminal case against Kyrgyzstani for TikTok video
A citizen of Kyrgyzstan became a defendant in a criminal case in Russia on charges of justifying terrorism. The media report.
According to them, 26-year-old Ozodbek Akhmadzhanov is an active user of TikTok.
A criminal case was initiated against him under article 205 part 2 «Public calls for terrorist activities, public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism using the Internet» of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
According to investigators, in three of his posts on the social media platform, the young man publicly called for terrorism and «justified the ideology of violence.»
