New Kyrgyzstan – USA cooperation agreement: Negotiations continue
«There are some details left concerning the cooperation agreement with the United States,» the Foreign Affairs Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, said today at a press conference.
According to him, the Kyrgyz Republic still expresses interest in the final completion of the procedures related to the document. At the same time, the foreign minister did not name the time frame when it would be ready.
Jeenbek Kulubaev also said that his visit to the United States is not yet planned, but negotiations on this issue are underway.
Earlier, the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, former Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Donald Lu told reporters that the cooperation agreement with Kyrgyzstan was ready for signing.
