Foreign Minister about situation in Ukraine: Everyone wants an end to conflict
«All the leaders of the Central Asian countries expressed their concern about the consequences of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine during the consultative meeting in Issyk-Kul,» the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev said at a press conference.
According to him, in their speeches at the 4th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, the leaders announced that against the backdrop of hostilities in Ukraine, solution of food and energy security problems becomes more complicated all over the world.
«All European planes arrive in Central Asia using roundabout routes. The complexity of logistics directly affects food prices. In this regard, everyone is interested in the speedy end of the conflict,» the minister said.
The 4th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia was held in Cholpon-Ata city on July 20-21.
