Meeting of presidents: Additional police forces to be drawn up to Issyk-Kul
More than a thousand policemen will provide security at a meeting of the presidents of the Central Asian states in Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan. Deputy Head of the Public Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Nurlan Ismailov told at a press conference.
The 4th Consultative Meeting of the heads of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will be held in Cholpon-Ata on June 20-21.
During the event, the entire staff of the Main Directorate of Traffic Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will also be involved in measures to ensure road safety.
«More than 1,000 police officers will ensure safety of this event; employees from Chui and Naryn regions will be sent to the territory,» Nurlan Ismailov told.
