Transition to cashless payments in public transport of Bishkek postponed
Mayor of the capital Emilbek Abdykadyrov, taking into account the numerous appeals of citizens, decided to postpone the transition to cashless payments in municipal public transport to a later date. Press service of the City Hall reported.
The exact date has not yet been announced.
According to the City Hall, many citizens did not have time to purchase Tulpar cards before the planned start of non-cash fare payment on July 1.
The draft resolution on the introduction of a differentiated tariff in public transport that was submitted for public discussion also influenced the decision made.
