Sports festival held in Bishkek on occasion of International Olympic Day
Sports festival dedicated to the International Olympic Day was held in Bishkek, which brought together about 500 participants. The National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic (NOC) reported.
«One of the main goals of the Olympic movement is upbringing of the young people with the help of sports in the spirit of mutual understanding and friendship. We celebrate today’s holiday under the motto «Sports for all». The program includes both mass sports and young sports that are gaining popularity in our country. The main thing is that all of them are accessible to young people,» the President of the NOC Sadyr Mamytov said.
