Heat wave up to +45 degrees forecast in Uzbekistan this weekend
Center of Hydrometeorological Service of Uzbekistan sent out an emergency message: heat wave will come to the republic from Iran on June 25-29. Gazeta.uz reports.
It is expected that air temperature in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region will rise to +42 ... +44 degrees Celsius, in Bukhara, Navoi, Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions — up to +43 ... +45 degrees, and in Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Syrdarya regions and Ferghana valley — up to +40 ... +42 degrees.
«The wind speed is expected to increase to 15–20 meters per second, in some areas with drifting dust,» the message says.
