Cell phones stolen from Almaty residents sold in Bishkek, suspect detained
International channel for sale of stolen cell phones was liquidated in Almaty (Kazakhstan). Deputy Chief of the Police Department for Investigative Work Rustam Abdrakhmanov reported.
According to him, law enforcement officers managed to find traces of stolen cell phones in Bishkek.
«A citizen has established interaction with his Kyrgyz «colleague». Our compatriot sent him cell phones stolen in Almaty to Bishkek, in return he received gadgets that were stolen from residents of the capital of Kyrgyzstan,» Rustam Abdrakhmanov told.
He added that the suspect was detained and confessed.
«Field investigators sent to the capital of Kyrgyzstan brought back 246 mobile devices of various models stolen in our city,» the police spokesman said.
