Law on mandatory installation of video surveillance by organizations signed
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed amendments to the Law on Outdoor Video Surveillance. Press service of the President reported.
The document applies to legal entities and individuals operating facilities to be equipped with an outdoor video surveillance system throughout the republic, which will allow creating additional measures to prevent and combat crime and ensure public safety in the country.
Local councils, on the proposal of the executive local government bodies, approve the lists of objects of organizations, enterprises and institutions located on the territory of the corresponding administrative-territorial unit, subject to the installation of outdoor video surveillance systems.
The law was adopted by the Parliament on May 11, 2022.
