Kyrgyztransneftegas state enterprise established in Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyztransneftegas state enterprise was established under the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan. The corresponding resolution was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov.
The company was established for state regulation and management in the oil and gas industry. It is endowed with the rights of the national operator for the transportation, storage, processing of natural and liquefied gas and the sale of oil, gas and products of their processing.
The State Property Management Fund was instructed to transfer to the Ministry of Energy gas facilities located on the territory of Northern Sokh oil and gas field in Kadamdzhai district of Batken region.
Kyrgyztransneftegas will have Osh and Batken branches, as well as Sokh Natural Gas Storage.
