Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 540.5 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 856,786 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 540,535,654 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (86,452,232), India (43,319,396), Brazil (31,818,827), France (30,476,915), Russia (18,134,735), Turkey (15,085,742), Great Britain (22,717,987), Italy (17,959,329), Spain (12,613,634), Germany (27,454,225), Argentina (9,341,492), Iran (7,235,175) and Columbia (6,131,657).
At least 6,321,654 people died from the virus, including 1,013,975 people — in the USA, 669,390— in Brazil, 325,417— in Mexico, 524,890— in India, 180,376— in the UK, 167,842— in Italy and 372,880— in Russia.
At least 201,012 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,395,200 cases — in Kazakhstan, 239,813— in Uzbekistan, 17,721 — in Tajikistan.
