Wanted for murder Uzbekistani detained in Chui region
A citizen of Uzbekistan, who is wanted in his homeland for extremely serious crimes, was detained in Chui region. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
Earlier, the Main Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received information that the wanted man might be hiding in the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
«The 30-year-old man is suspected of murder and robbery. The internal affairs bodies of the neighboring country asked for help in operational-search activities and detention of the citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The man has been on the wanted list since 2020. He was detained on the territory of Chui region. He is in custody. The issue of his extradition is being considered,» the ministry said.
