Main irrigation canal under construction in Kadamdzhai for 2 billion soms
A main irrigation canal is being built in Kadamdzhai district of Batken region near the border with Uzbekistan. The head of Alga Kadam project Asanbai Pazilov told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, blasting operations in the mountainous area began in April 2022.
It is noted that 12 women from Kadamdzhai were among the first to invest large sums in implementation of the project — from 190,000 to 590,000 soms.
