Former head of Soros Foundation-Kyrgyzstan summoned for interrogation
The ex-head of Soros Foundation-Kyrgyzstan, former Minister of Education Chinara Zhakypova was summoned for interrogation by the State Committee for National Security (SCNS). She announced it on Twitter.
According to her, two young people from SCNS came to her. They demanded to come today at 3 p.m. within a criminal case. «They didn’t say what case it is. They promised to bring summons tomorrow,» Chinara Zhakypova wrote.
The current director of Soros Foundation-Kyrgyzstan, Shamil Ibragimov, was also interrogated in early June. He said that the interrogation was connected with purchase of the building by the organization.
