Protesters demand to change provision on land transformation in Bishkek
The third rally is taking place near the Government House in Bishkek. More than 50 people from different regions of Kyrgyzstan gathered on the eastern side of the building.
The protesters chant the President’s name and demand from Sadyr Japarov to come out to them.
«The law on land amnesty was adopted in February 2022, and a regulation on its execution has been developed. It does not give the right to legally transform land plots. The people demand to change clauses in the provision. One of the demands is to remove the timing, because it says that the transformation will take place within two years. This does not suit the citizens,» they say.
