Dostuk checkpoint servicemen suspected of corruption
Servicemen of Dostuk checkpoint were detained on the facts of corruption. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
The servicemen were detained on the fact of systematic illegal extortion of money on the territory of the checkpoint.
«Three servicemen and the acting deputy chief physician of the Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance on Transport for the southern region, the former head of Dostuk SCP, as well as intermediaries who are involved in illegal extortions, were detained. By a court decision, the detainees were taken into custody until June 24,» the SCNS reported.
