Officials cause damage to state for more than 21 million soms in Naryn
Employees of the Department of Capital Construction of Naryn region caused damage to the state in the amount of more than 21 million soms. Press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.
«It was revealed that employees of the department, abusing their official position, illegally transferred payment for actually unfulfilled work during the construction of a kindergarten in Kazybek village and rehabilitation of water supply system in Kara-Bulun village, At-Bashi district. As a result, the state suffered damage totaling 21,801,901 soms,» the statement says.
The prosecutor’s office of the region initiated two criminal cases on the facts of abuse of official position. The investigation is ongoing.
