Kyrgyzstan imposes temporary restriction on truck traffic in summer
Kyrgyzstan imposed a temporary restriction on the movement of trucks on public roads. Press service of the Ministry of Transport reported.
According to them, the measures are valid until September 1, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., when the daytime temperature is higher than 28 degrees Celsius. During this time, it is forbidden for trucks over 18 tons to move. This will ensure undamaged condition of public roads and increase their service life.
The Department of Land and Water Transport was instructed to conduct explanatory conversations with persons engaged in freight transportation in Kyrgyzstan. The ministry also instructed to install appropriate road signs.
