Turkey abolishes PCR tests for entry into country
Since June 1, it is no longer necessary to present the results of PCR tests or antigen tests when entering Turkey, RBC reports.
The day before, the country abolished mandatory wearing of masks in public places, with the exception of hospitals.
«No report of a negative PCR test within a maximum of 72 hours before entry or a negative rapid antigen test conducted within a maximum of 48 hours since entry is required,» the republic’s Interior Ministry said.
The ministry made this decision after assessing the current coronavirus situation.
The requirement of a negative PCR test was abolished in Kyrgyzstan on May 1, 2022.
