National Bank of Kyrgyzstan buys $20.55 million to stabilize exchange rate
The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan intervened in the foreign exchange market for the second time in a week. Official website of the bank says.
A total of $2 million were purchased with settlements on the date of the transaction and $18,550 million with settlements different from the date of the transaction.
Since the beginning of the year, the National Bank has sold $217,650 million during five interventions. Four more times the bank bought dollars for $46.45 million. Thus, the net sale of foreign currency since the beginning of the year amounted to $171,200 million.
