Foreign Minister and Russian Ambassador discuss problems of labor migrants
Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev met with the Russian Ambassador to the republic Nikolai Udovichenko.
The parties discussed key issues of the Kyrgyz-Russian trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian, interregional cooperation, implementation of previously reached agreements in these areas, as well as the current problems of labor migrants from the Kyrgyz Republic who are staying in the Russian Federation.
The parties exchanged views on upcoming foreign policy events, including the next meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the 1st Eurasian Economic Forum, which will be held in Bishkek on May 26-27.
Jeenbek Kulubaev noted the importance of further mutually beneficial cooperation in all priority areas in order to strengthen allied relations and strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
