Largest drug supply channel eliminated in Kyrgyzstan
State Service on Drug Control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan together with special services of Kazakhstan carried out an operation on liquidation of one of the largest drug supply channels. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
«The joint special operation on the elimination of a transnational drug group had been conducted for six months in the territory of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. From November 2021 to April, four citizens of Kazakhstan and three citizens of Kyrgyzstan were detained. Accomplices and organizers of the drug channel are among them. Two laboratories for the production of synthetic drugs were liquidated. About 31,265 grams of drugs were seized from illegal circulation, in particular 19,500 grams of alpha-PVP, 6 kilograms of mephedrone, 5 kilograms of hashish, 765 grams of marijuana,» the statement says.
The estimated profit from the sale of the seized drugs could be 155,545 million soms.
