European movies to be screened in Bishkek and Osh
European films will be screened in Bishkek and Osh. Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
All the films presented are nominees of the Berlin and Cannes Film Festivals. Film screenings will take place in Bishkek from May 21 to May 27 (Ala-Too cinema), and in Osh from May 29 to June 4 (Kinobox Semetey cinema).
All the films will be presented in the languages of the countries in which they were produced with Russian subtitles. Admission is free.
In 2022, the European Film Festival is timed to the celebration of Europe Day and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and the European Union.
