Section of alternative North - South road to be closed for week
Section of the alternative North — South road from Aral village to Kazarman village will be closed for traffic from May 11 to May 18. The Ministry of Transport and Communications reports.
Hydrometeorological Service has sent out a weather alert. Unstable weather is expected from May 10 to May 14, showers and snowfalls are possible in the mountainous regions of the country. Mudflows and rockfalls are possible on the section of Aral — Kazarman road.
«To ensure traffic safety and unhindered work on cleaning the roadway from mudflows and landslides, this section of the road will be closed. We ask to take the temporary inconvenience with understanding and plan your route in advance,» the statement says.
