Mass food poisoning: Shops and markets checked in Kyrgyzstan
In order to prevent mass food poisoning, unscheduled inspections of trade facilities and markets have begun in Kyrgyzstan. The Department of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance reported.
Specialists will check creamy-confectionery and other products that do not comply with the technical regulations of the EAEU, as well as the storage conditions of products and will take measures in case of violations.
The department asks the population not to purchase perishable, creamy-confectionery products in pop-up retail outlets, as well as in trade facilities without observing proper storage conditions (outside refrigeration units).
Cases of mass food poisoning were registered in Bishkek on May 5, and in Osh on May 1.
