Omurbek Tekebayev presents credentials to President of Germany
Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Germany Omurbek Tekebayev presented his credentials to the President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Press service of the diplomatic mission reported.
Omurbek Tekebayev also conveyed to Frank-Walter Steinmeier the words of greeting and gratitude from the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov for the support provided by Germany.
«The parties exchanged views on the development of cooperation in Central Asia. The Ambassador invited the President of Germany to pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan. In addition, Omurbek Tekebayev told about the reforms and the current socio-economic situation in Kyrgyzstan,» the statement says.
At the end, the national flag of Kyrgyzstan was raised in a solemn atmosphere at the presidential residence Bellevue Palace.
