Border guards of Uzbekistan shoot three citizens of Kyrgyzstan dead
Border guards of Uzbekistan used weapons against three citizens of Kyrgyzstan on May 5. The Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The incident occurred in Dobo-Korgon area of Aktam rural administration of Ala-Buka district, Jalal-Abad region. Three Kyrgyzstanis received gunshot wounds, they were taken to a hospital in Ala-Buka district where they died.
«To clarify the circumstances of the incident, the border representative of the Kyrgyz Republic for Ala-Buka area held a meeting with the border representative of Uzbekistan for Yangi-Kurgan area. The parties agreed to continue the meeting on May 6 following the results of internal investigations. Investigative measures have been started into the fact,» the statement says.
