Prices of some medicines grow by 20 percent in Kyrgyzstan
Some medicines have risen in price by 20 percent in Kyrgyzstan. Deputy Director of the Department of Medicines and Medical Products under the Ministry of Health Kanat Bekboev told at a press conference.
«Medicines have risen in price by 5-20 percent on average. This is due to the increase in prices by manufacturers, as well as the fact that logistics is becoming more expensive. The unstable situation in the foreign exchange market also influences the cost of drugs,» he said.
Kanat Bekboev added that, according to the forecasts of representatives of pharmaceutical companies, the price increase could reach 40 percent.
