Cabinet of Ministers plans to oblige drivers to equip cars with video recorders
Head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov instructed the Interior Ministry to prepare a bill on the compulsory equipping of vehicles registered in the country with driving video recorders. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
Equipping of cars with video recorders will help to improve discipline among road users and will allow to strengthen public security.
«The number of video cameras per car will increase, respectively, more offenses will be registered. The driving video recorders will become an important tool in disputed situations during investigation of road accidents. The norm is proposed to be introduced in 2025 that will allow car owners to plan their budget for the purchase of the recorders by this period,» the Cabinet reported.
