Kyrgyzstan and Russia plan to unite air defense systems
Russia, following the agreements on unification of air defense with other CIS countries, will sign such a document with Kyrgyzstan. RIA Novosti reports.
According to it, the project is undergoing domestic approval procedure, Colonel-General Yury Grekhov, Deputy Chairman of the Air Defense Coordination Committee under the Council of Ministers of Defense of the CIS countries, said.
«Work continues on the practical implementation of agreements between Russia, Armenia and Kazakhstan. The draft agreement on the creation of a unified regional air defense system of Russia and Kyrgyzstan has been finalized and sent for domestic approval,» he said.
