Kyrgyzstan to ban early retirement
It is planned to ban early retirement in Kyrgyzstan. The Deputy Head of the Social Fund Gulnura Zhumataeva announced at the parliamentary hearings on reform of the pension system and the draft concept for the development of compulsory health insurance for 2023-2026.
According to her, several reforms are proposed to increase the size of the pension.
«It is planned to ban early retirement. As for the high-mountainous regions, it is planned to change the conditions. For example, if a mother of three children retired earlier at the age of 45, we suggest increasing this age to 48. This is due to an increase in life expectancy,» Gulnura Zhumataeva said.
The retirement age has not yet been raised in the republic.
