Representatives of fishing industry tell Akylbek Japarov about problems
Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan as part of his working trip to Chui region got acquainted with the activities of fish farms located in Issyk-Ata and Panfilov districts.
Akylbek Japarov inspected a hatchery and pools for growing trout fry. He was shown finished products made of trout.
Representatives of government agencies and businesses discussed problems and prospects for the development of the domestic fish industry. Manufacturers told about the emerging difficulties of doing business and ways to solve them.
Akylbek Japarov noted the importance of development of state programs to restore the number of local fish species and production of sturgeon caviar.
He expressed support to the projects proposed by representatives of Aqua Service company on creation of aquaculture center, where training on fish farming and sturgeon breeding will be conducted in Toktogul reservoir basin in Jalal-Abad region.
