40 billion soms to be allocated for agriculture by end of year
The total amount of funds allocated for agriculture will reach 40 billion soms by the end of the year. The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said at the republican meeting of social workers in Bishkek.
He added that the state is actively directing resources to agriculture. He cited allocation of 26 billion soms in loans for farmers at 6 percent per annum as an example. But this amount is not enough to provide all agricultural producers.
«Together with funds for irrigation, purchase of seeds and other resources, the total amount allocated for agriculture will reach 40 billion soms by the end of the year,» Sadyr Japarov explained.
