Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to hold business forum in Andijan
Andijan will host the Kyrgyz-Uzbek Economic Business Forum in May 2022. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to it, it is planned to organize a trip to Samarkand and Bukhara for Kyrgyz entrepreneurs. Representatives of the two countries agreed on this during a meeting of the Council of Presidential Envoys of the Kyrgyz Republic to the border areas and khokims of the border regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of both countries discussed issues of expanding cooperation in the development of trade, tourism and implementation of industrial integration projects.
The Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund was created at the end of 2021. Its headquarters will be located in Bishkek. The funds authorized capital is planned to be increased to $200 million.
