SCNS detains investigator of Internal Affairs Department for extortion
The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) detained an investigator of the Internal Affairs Department of Pervomaisky district of Bishkek. Press center of the SCNS reported.
The police captain was detained while receiving a bribe of 85,000 soms.
The fact was registered under the article «Extortion». An investigation is underway.
It is noted that the investigator extorted $2,000 for termination of pre-trial proceedings.
