Directors of kindergartens and schools to be selected through competition
Directors of kindergartens, lyceums and colleges will be selected on a competitive basis. The Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Beishenaliev told.
«Selection of directors of kindergartens, schools, vocational lyceums and colleges will be carried out on a competitive basis. Thus, the human factor is completely eliminated. Results of the competition will be determined on the basis of situational tasks and computer testing with instant result release. It will ensure rapid renewal of human resources,» he said.
In 2021, the deputies proposed changes to the law on education, according to which the rectors of universities would be appointed by the president, not through direct election.
The then Minister of Education and Science Bolotbek Kupeshev supported the proposal.
