Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 493.6 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 2,233,600 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 493,628,801 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (80,494,930), India (43,029,044), Brazil (30,015,357), France (26,218,724), Russia (17,651,048), Turkey (14,907,378), Great Britain (21,522,955), Italy (14,877,144), Spain (11,551,574), Germany (21,706,329), Argentina (9,043,098), Iran (7,171,165) and Columbia (6,086,233).
At least 6,169,702 people died from the virus, including 997,123 people — in the USA, 660,570— in Brazil, 323,223— in Mexico, 521,358— in India, 166,378— in the UK, 159,909— in Italy and 362,581 — in Russia.
At least 200,968 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,393,904 cases — in Kazakhstan, 237,888— in Uzbekistan, 17,786 — in Tajikistan.
