Small HPP to be built near Dangi site to supply Osh with drinking water
Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov instructed to work out a project for the construction of a small hydropower plant in the area of Dangi site in Osh region. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
According to it, construction of a small hydroelectric power plant in the specified area will solve the issue of providing part of Osh city with clean drinking water, which has not been resolved for many years.
Akylbek Japarov approved the presented project and noted that it was necessary to promptly resolve all legal and documentation issues.
The head of the Cabinet also met with residents of nearby villages in Kara-Suu district, where he informed about anti-crisis measures to increase the salaries of public sector workers, prevent price increases for essential products and transform land plots.
